The Glass House stands out on Jalan Tamblingan, Sanur. With its white plantation shutters, high glass walls and ceilings, it’s decor sets it apart from the crowd. Walking into The Glass House, through to the air conditioned coolness you will feel a sense of calm and tranquility – the only trouble is, you’ll have a problem deciding whether to sit in the stunning outside ‘glass house’ or whether to sit inside in the air conditioning and watch the goings on of the busy bar and kitchen.
The restaurant is renowned for its fabulous coffee and homemade cakes which change on a daily basis.
The Glass House is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with breakfast including an array of house-baked pastries, muffins, and bread right through to full American/Australian breakfasts. Lunch has a full menu from all around the globe with fresh salads, baguettes, and burgers sitting next to tasty Indonesian dishes. We specialise in fresh seafood with the Jimbaran Platter being the latest outstanding addition to our menu.

Fresh Ingredients, Tasty Meals
At The Glass House, we only serve the freshest food. We have daily deliveries of fruit and vegetables picked fresh from the markets in North Bali at Bedugal. The hydroponic tomatoes have to be tasted to believe how good they are. So don’t just take our word for it do yourself a favor and try them. We source locally made products as much as possible, including our delicious haloumi cheese made in Bali, which sits comfortably amongst the other cheeses we import from Australia and New Zealand.
All our cakes and pastries are made with love on the premises and include all of your favorites. Think warm apple pie with ice cream, jelly cakes and lamingtons the way mum made them, lemon meringue pie, carrot cake and our famous tropical fruit pavlova is not to be missed.
Artisan breads and croissants are delivered daily from local bakeries to ensure they are always fresh and delicious. An assortment of jams and spreads with real butter are available as well as vegemite for us Aussies that can’t have toast without it. We also have delicious vegetarian, and gluten free options.

With their broad knowledge and understanding of international cooking styles and flavors, they are able to create a varied and well balanced menu with something to tempt the fussiest palate.
Everyone likes a bit of variety so we serve you plenty. You can choose from our selection of authentic fragrant and spicy Thai Laksa, or Balinese standards like soto ayam, nasi goreng, or tasty curries. Perhaps you feel like some delicious Italian dishes with homemade pasta, or a prime beef fillet cooked just the way you like it, and you have to try our gourmet Aussie mega beef pies with peas and gravy. All of the seafood is fresh daily and presented in a variety of dishes for your dining pleasure.
When only the best will do, brew Lazumba premium gourmet coffee blends. We have been serving it up to our guests for over 10 years with no complaints and they keep coming back for more. Our fully trained baristas know their coffee and how we like it. Hot or cold, long or short, medium or strong your coffee is served with a choice of full cream, low fat or soy milk. For the more adventurous we also do a wicked espresso martini and an after dinner affogato.
